Hi everyone,
I'm considering getting a Doberman dog but I'm a bit worried about their reputation for being aggressive. I've heard conflicting opinions and I'm not sure what to believe. I want a dog that will be loyal and protective, but I don't want one that will be a danger to myself or my family.
What has been your experience with Dobermans? Are they as aggressive as they are often described? Is it possible to raise them to be well-behaved, non-aggressive dogs? Any advice or insights would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!

Hello,
I'm sorry to say that my experience with Dobermans has been the exact opposite. My cousin owns a Doberman, and it has always showed aggression towards strangers and even visitors. It barks and growls at anyone new, and even charges at them sometimes. My cousin has tried various forms of training, but the dog continues to exhibit aggressive behavior.
I believe that each dog is unique and has its own personality, just like humans. Some Dobermans may be friendly and adaptable, while others may be more prone to aggression. I don't think there is a clear-cut answer to whether Dobermans are aggressive or not, as it depends on the individual dog and its upbringing.
I would suggest that if you're considering getting a Doberman, you do a lot of research and prepare to put in a lot of training and socialization work, just to be on the safe side.
Hope this helps!
