Hi everyone! I recently adopted a one-year-old Doberman named Zeus. He is full of energy and I want to make sure that he is getting enough exercise. I work from home, so I have plenty of time to dedicate to him. However, I am not sure how much exercise a Doberman needs on a daily basis. I want to make sure that I am not over-exercising him or under-exercising him. Can anyone give me some advice or tips on how much exercise is appropriate for a Doberman? Thank you in advance!

Hi there! I also have a Doberman and I can tell you that they are very energetic dogs. I try to give my Doberman at least two long walks a day, each about 30-45 minutes. In addition to that, I let her run around in the backyard and play fetch for about 15-20 minutes. I find that this amount of exercise keeps her well-behaved and happy. However, I think it ultimately depends on your Doberman's energy level and age. If your dog is younger, they may need more exercise than an older dog. Just pay attention to his behavior and adjust accordingly. Hope this helps!
