Hi everyone,
I'm a dog lover and I'm currently considering getting either a Rottweiler or Doberman Pinscher as a new family pet. I've done a lot of research and found that Rottweilers are generally more patient and calm than Dobermans. However, I've also come across statistics that show Rottweilers are more likely to attack humans than Dobermans.
This has me quite confused because if Rottweilers are supposed to be more patient and calm, then why are they attacking more often than Dobermans? I really want to make an informed decision and choose the right breed for my family, so any insights on this topic would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance!

Hello there,
I've had the pleasure of owning both a Rottweiler and a Doberman Pinscher, and in my experience, both breeds have their unique characteristics and personality traits. My Rottweiler was indeed a very patient and calm dog and only became aggressive towards strangers in situations where he felt it necessary to protect his family.
On the other hand, my Doberman Pinscher was more energetic and playful, but could also be territorial and reactive towards other dogs.
I think it's important to remember that each dog is an individual with their own traits, and it's essential to consider that in addition to the breed. Proper socialization, training, and a healthy environment can make all the difference in a dog's behavior and aggressiveness.
In the end, the decision of which breed to choose should be based on your lifestyle, needs, and the amount of time and dedication you're willing to give to ensuring you have a well-trained, well-adjusted dog.
