Hi everyone,
I am looking for some advice in choosing between a Rottweiler, Doberman, and German Shepherd Dog (GSD). I have been thinking about getting a larger breed dog as a companion and a family pet. I want a dog that can provide protection to my family and home, as well as being a loyal and playful companion.
I have read up on these breeds and know that they all have their unique qualities and traits. However, I am having a hard time deciding on which one would be best for me and my family. I have young children, so safety and temperament are very important factors to me.
While I am leaning towards a GSD, I have heard great things about Rottweilers and Dobermans as well. I also know that each breed requires different amounts of exercise and attention, so that is something to consider as well.
If anyone has any personal experiences or insights on these breeds, I would really appreciate your input. Thank you in advance!

Hi there,
I have owned both a Rottweiler and a Doberman in the past and I have to say that they were both great dogs. However, considering you have young children, I would recommend going with a GSD.
My Rottweiler was a great family dog, very loyal and protective. However, she was a bit stubborn and required a lot of attention and training. My Doberman, on the other hand, was extremely energetic and playful. He was also very protective, but sometimes a bit too aggressive towards strangers.
In my experience, GSDs are very intelligent, loyal, and easy to train. They make great family dogs and are very protective of their owners. They are also very playful and love to run around and play fetch.
One thing to keep in mind is that GSDs require a lot of exercise and mental stimulation. They are a working breed and need to be kept busy to stay happy and healthy. If you have the time and energy to provide them with the exercise and attention they need, a GSD would be a great choice for you.
Hope this helps!
