Hi everyone,
I am considering getting a Doberman and wanted to know what type of environment would be best for them to live in. I live in an apartment with no yard, but I am willing to take them out for a walk multiple times a day. I work full-time, so they would be alone for a few hours during the day.
I want to make sure that the environment I provide for my potential Doberman would be suitable for them and that they would be happy and healthy. Any advice or experiences you have with owning a Doberman in a similar living situation would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you.

Hello,
I have a Doberman and I live in an apartment as well. I would say that as long as you are committed to taking your Doberman for walks and giving them enough exercise, then living in an apartment can definitely work for them. I take my Doberman for a walk in the morning, during my lunch break, and then again when I get home from work. I also make sure to give her plenty of playtime and mental stimulation when we are inside.
One thing to note is that Dobermans are known to be high-energy dogs, so it's important to give them enough exercise and stimulation to prevent them from becoming bored and potentially destructive. But if you are willing to put in the effort, a Doberman can thrive in an apartment environment.
Hope this helps!
