Hi everyone,
I am a soon-to-be Doberman pinscher owner and I have been doing a lot of research on this breed. I have read that their weight can vary depending on their genes and overall health. However, I would like to have an idea of the average weight of a fully grown Doberman.
I understand that this breed can be quite muscular and lean, but I am just trying to get a general idea so I can prepare in terms of food, exercise, and other necessities. Any personal experiences or advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you in advance!

Hey there,
I have a male Doberman Pinscher and he weighs around 75 pounds. When I first got him, I was concerned that he was too thin, but after talking to my veterinarian, I learned that he was actually at a healthy weight for his size and age.
It's important to note that Dobermans can vary quite a bit in terms of their body type and overall build. Some are more muscular, while others are leaner. This can impact their weight and their overall appearance.
In terms of feeding, I would recommend working with your veterinarian to develop a feeding plan that is appropriate for your dog's age, weight, and activity level. You may need to adjust their diet over time as they grow and develop, so it's important to stay in touch with your vet to make sure your pup is on the right track.
Remember, Dobermans are a loyal and affectionate breed that require a lot of care and attention. With proper training, socialization, and exercise, they can make wonderful pets and companions. Good luck with your new furry friend!
